Every entry in our catalog is read, weighed, and filed by a single human indexer. We do not chase trends or algorithmically surface bestsellers. Instead, we follow provenance — tracing editions through marginalia, dedications, and the soft fingerprints of previous owners.
We believe a book's afterlife matters. Each listing notes the edition, the press, and the year of printing. Where we know, we tell you who first acquired it. Where we don't, we say so plainly, and never invent.
